Just a quick update on my projects 'cause I'm sick of seeing out-of-date info on my front page.
Also I swear to god I'm working on getting a functioning scanner and then there will be drawings and designs and stuff in my gallery again. Also fabric border prints. I started designing prints. 'Cause I'm weird like that.

What's up

Yesterday was my 4-year anniversary with my lovely boyfriend/husband Ian! (we're handfasted but not "officially" married) It was also my best friend's birthday, so I went to a party in the morning and on a date in the evening. XD I had a wonderful time.... and I also wore Lolita out of the house for the first time! I got my dream skirt from Bodyline a week ago. <3 It's surprisingly comfy!
Also I got myself a job! I work at Goodwill sorting clothes now. It's pretty much the best job I could have hoped for- it's right near my bf's house and is on the way to my little brother's school, so my mom can drop me off every morning- but I still really hate it. XD Not the actual work so much (although it IS tough) but my co-workers are all extremely rude and insipid people, and I don't get along well with those kinds of people. But I'm making about $700 a month so I'll try and stick it out as long as I can for teh monies.
Anyway I've not had a lot of time to work on my hobbies lately, but I did finish part of my Ravenclaw outfit for the Deathly Hallows premier. When the whole thing is done I'll put up pics. :3 As far as drawing goes, I've done a few things but have no way to scan them right now, and while I do have some scanned things to color, I've not been doing any coloring at all.... and don't know if I will for a long time. ^_^;
So, I kinda just wanted to put up a list of my projects 'cause it lets you guys know what I'm doing and it reminds me to do crap. These are kinda in the order I intend to do them in but it's subject to change.

So I've been crafting like a mad woman, and I haven't been taking pictures! But I will! I promise! And as soon as I get pictures, I will share them with you!

P.S. HAPPY THIRTEENTH BIRTHDAY TO MY LITTLE BROTHER! HE IS AWESOME! He makes stop motion animations and Rube Goldberg machines and will probably become a mad scientist or roboticist (or whatever they're called).

Time for a new one of these

So I've graduated and now I am not a student. This is a strange feeling. It is also strange to note that in another year I will once again be a student. I don't think this will fully set in until all my friends are back at school without me.
I've been job hunting (badly- I suck at this stuff) with no luck since before school let out, I'm starting to get feelings of hopelessness about it. I know there are jobs out there but none of them seem to want me. :/
Living with Ian fell through because without jobs, we have no money to rent a place together; but he still needed to move out by December 'cause that's when his parents leave so he decided to move in with some friends. And since he's signed the lease for a whole year, at this point even if we both get jobs he can't move in with me for another year.
Also my mom decided it would be good motivation if she threatened to stop giving me my allowance if I do not make "at least $600 per month", starting next month.
And I'm $200 in debt because I got a freakin' trespassing fine for being in a public park after night fall. I forgot that was illegal. I am a little bit stupid.
On the plus side..... no wait, there is no plus side. Well, I am doing a lot of crafting which is fun but the project I was most excited about got screwed up and I haven't tried to fix it yet because I HATE unpicking stitches. Also I've actually left my house this summer which is big step for me, I'm pretty much a shut-in, so I guess that's good. I was going to teach esperanto classes but all my "students" mysteriously seem unable to schedule time for it so it hasn't happened.
I'm going to be cosplaying the Fourth Doctor (from Doctor Who) in the winter! I'm starting the costume in a few days so you guys will get pictures of that and stuff. It'll be awesome.

Stuffs

My man is back! I've still got school for two weeks (grrr), but then I am GRADUATING OMG. So far neither of us has gotten a job, but we're working on that. Ditto for the apartment, but it's unlikely that we'll find one we can move into right away.... so it may be some time before we can move in together. We need to find someplace by December for sure though, 'cause his parents are moving to Virginia then (or maybe it's Connecticut, I don't remember... eheh) ^_^;
So I am STRESSED ARGH.
Thankfully I've already been accepted for college so I don't have to give a shit about my grades anymore beyond making sure I graduate, which is a given at this point (YES!). So homework is something I do now just so I'm on good terms with my teachers. Also because we're reading 100 Years of Solitude in my Adv. English class and it RULES. I even started reading it aloud to my bf, which he is enjoying very much.
Oh and I have a big final test coming up on TEH BIBLE LOLZ. Because I'm in a frickin' bible-as-lit class.
And there's a final in my Adv. Sociology class too but since I've taken Soc TWICE (and somehow managed to get credit twice, wtf?) it will not be a challenge.
And I'm getting an A in my East Asian Studies class even though I don't remember EVER having done ANY work for it!
Esperanto is going pretty good... Nun mi parolas pli flue ol antauxe, sed ne perfekte. Mi legas Fajron Sentas Mi Interne, kaj gxi estas tre amuza! Mi tre sxatas legi en Esperanto, estas pli facile ol la Japana.
Japanese... I'm not doing much in it lately, I'm waiting for summer. Then I'm gonna start working through the 2000 Joyou kanji more methodically, instead of haphazard like before.
I'm also starting French! No, I totally am NOT biting off more than I can chew... I know people who do five or six langs at once, I can totally handle one advanced, one intermediate, and one beginner-level language all at once. Besides I have been in contact with French since KINDERGARTEN, it's about goddamn time I actually learn it. I have enough exposure and passive vocab to read the entire Le Petite Prince and understand nearly everything, I just need to learn active output.
I have a bunch of scanned in stuff to color for youse guys, yay. Also I did some fancy-schmancy drawings of stuff from my book (remember that? no? I don't blame you) for my Grad Project, so I'll get around to putting them up eventually.
